All about the Hypnobirthing Workshop

Hypnobirthing with Zoe takes place over one day because I remember how busy life can be in the run up to having a baby. I want the workshop to give you and your birth partner a full day to come together and focus on your pregnancy, how you both feel about labour, how to support each other and also, bring some relaxation and peace to you both in what can often be a stressful time. Its all about the two of YOU learning about birth in a calming and supportive way.

Hypnobirthing is a powerful way to prepare your mind for birth and it compliments Pregnancy Yoga perfectly. The course involves lots of birth education, going deep into birth physiology as well as learning how the mind impacts on the state of the body, and therefore the birth. Both you and your birth partner will learn what to expect at different stages, and how best to work with different phases of your labour. You will feel more confident and prepared to navigate maternity services and better equipped to make decisions about the treatment you and your baby receive.

Guided Hypnosis Tracks

You'll receive 3 hypnobirthing tracks to listen to throughout your pregnancy - helping you enter a hypnogogic state, where you dip into lower frequency brain waves and the subconscious is more open to suggestion (so can take on positive messages about labour). This helps you feel less fearful, more confident and even excited to experience giving birth. But most importantly this changes the physiology of what's happening in your body during labour - in a positive way.

Birth Partner

One of the great things about hypnobirthing is that is enables you and your birth partner to explore your wishes for the birth. Your birth partner will gain many ideas on how to support you. Lots of partners give feedback that they felt more prepared with practical tools and better informed after doing a hypnobirthing course then they did after doing more traditional antenatal course.

Birth Prep

Partner massage, birthing positions, breathing techniques and partner relaxation techniques are covered in detail. We also look at any specific fears you and your birth partner may have in relation to the labour / parenthood to help you overcome them. As every pregnancy and birth is unique, we will focus on you as a couple and what you need to feel ready to birth.

The course is packed with information and techniques (too many to list here) but its main aim is to educate and prepare you and your birth partner - however the birth unfolds. When you understand the birth process and have tools to help you stay calm and make informed decisions, it helps you have a birth you feel positive about and empowered by.

The workshop costs £175 per couple but Pregnancy Yoga Mums get 10% discount bringing the cost to £157.50

WHAT PEOPLE SAY

Prenancy in White

Maisie Stafford

"It was a real luxury to spend a whole day just thinking and reflecting on how we feel about the birth. I really enjoyed the opportunity to discuss and explore the topics and ask questions. The partner massage was also great and something that felt very empowering for both of us. I think it was important for me to hear that my body is capable of giving birth basically by itself, as this gives me a lot of confidence and reassurance. It was also useful to learn how hypnosis works."

Prenatal Yoga

Emma Eaton

I went to pregnancy yoga with Zoe and loved the advice, warm and friendly vibes and of course amazing yoga! I now attend baby massage with her. Highly recommend.

Tree Pose

I met Zoe when I was 12 weeks pregnant with my first child and joined her pregnancy yoga class. I found the classes really calming and enjoyed the catch-up chats at the start of every class. My husband and I also joined a group Hypnobirthing course and I definitely feel this helped me prepare for labour. Once my little boy arrived, we joined Zoe's baby yoga class which was a great way to meet and catch up with other new mums,
