About Zoe
Hi I’m Zoe and I’ve been working with women and babies for 9 years, supporting families throughout pregnancy and motherhood - thank you for dropping by!
I began my path in holistic wellbeing in 2003, with a degree in Homeopathic Medicine from The University of Central Lancashire. I then managed Neal’s Yard Remedies shops and therapy rooms across the UK for around 6 years, before traveling to teach English and Montessori at an International school in Northern Thailand. During this time I became pregnant with my first baby and decided to turn my passion for yoga into my career, training with MamaBabyBliss back in 2015, soon after having my first baby. I’ve never looked back and have continued to add lots of other trainings and classes over the years such as, 200 hours Yoga Teacher Training, Pregnancy Yoga and Mindfulness, Hypnobirthing, Postnatal Yoga Rehab, Yin Yoga, Yoga in schools and Womens Yoga and Retreats. This work is my absolute passion and I feel honoured to get the chance to work with women at such a pivotal time in their lives.
I’ve been practicing yoga for 18 years and it's a central part of my life. I love sharing a nurturing, gentle, feminine practice with the women who come to my classes. My focus is on helping them tap into their inner strength and wisdom, while regulating the nervous system.
I’m mum to two girls (who also love to practice yoga with me!) Both of my daughters were born at home, in birthing pools, using yoga and hypnobirthing techniques to bring them into the world, peacefully and calmly. Their births were the most rewarding and epic moments of my life! My wish is for everyone to feel empowered by birth, and so, I support families through all types of birth from physiological to assisted and c-section, and have supported hundreds of women over the years.
Families usually start their journeys with me in pregnancy yoga classes, many also attend hypnobirthing workshops with their birth partners, to prepare fully for a birth they feel confident and calm about, and most importantly, content with afterwards.
Once babies are here, I teach baby massage, mum and baby yoga and yoga for mums. All of these classes focus as much on your wellbeing as that of your baby's. I believe we need to mother the mother i.e support and nourish her, so that she has the strength to pour her care into her baby.
My women’s yoga and women's retreats are focused on helping people to refill their emotional cups and feel more comfortable in their bodies. Our weekly classes begin with women's circles and then move into yoga based on our cyclical hormonal, seasonal and moon phase needs. Following on from the success of my Women's Yoga classes, Yoga Circle's have been born. These weekly yoga classes are open to all ages, abilities and genders so that the healing power of community, connection and calm yoga practice can be enjoyed my all. Yoga really should be for everybody and I am passionate about helping people connect to their innate inner wisdom through yoga practice.
If you are unsure if my classes are for you - get in touch to book a free trail. The classes are always welcoming, friendly and calm - you will be well looked after :)
